Ofsted is the Office for Standards in Education, Children’s Services and Skills.  Ofsted reports directly to Parliament and is independent and impartial.  They inspect and regulate services that care for children and young people, and services providing education and skills for learners of all ages.

In March 2015 a team of Ofsted inspectors judged Castle Donington College to be a Good School with Outstanding behaviour and safety.


Some of the key findings from the Ofsted report highlighting our schools success include:


  • Pupils feel safe, valued and respected and are proud to be part of a caring community
  • Leaders work to keep pupils safe is outstanding
  • Pupils enjoy coming to the College every day because the appreciate the good teaching and support they receive
  • Pupils make good progress because of teaching that is challenging and stimulating
